Privacy policy
On this page
This page is about you — someone reading this site, sending us an enquiry, or applying for a job. It is short because this site does very little with personal data.
Data a client sends us to work on is a different question, with its own page:
JSK Business Solutions Private Limited, CIN U93000WB2013PTC196574, Ground Floor, Surya Kiran Apartment, 17 Bharat Chandra Roy Path, Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal 743127, India, decides what happens to everything on this page.
Cookies, and what is stored on your device
Two things, and one of them is your choice.
Your theme setting. If you use the light and dark switch in the header, that preference stays in your browser and is never sent to us. It is not a tracking cookie and it is set whether or not you accept anything else.
Google Analytics, if you accept it. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and which campaigns bring them here. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code, which last up to two years and let Google recognise a returning browser.
It is off until you say yes. No analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set unless you accept on the bar that appears on your first visit. Decline and the site works exactly the same — there is no reduced version, no second ask, and we do not ask again.
No advertising. No advertising network. No tracking pixels from anyone.
If you send us an enquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email, company, which engine you need, what the problem is, and a budget range. Company and budget are optional; the rest is what we need to reply usefully.
It is emailed to info@jskbusinesssolutions.com and stored in this site’s own database. It goes to no CRM, no mailing list and no third party. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. It is kept 12 months and then deleted automatically.
If you apply for a job
The careers form asks for your name, email, phone, a link to your work, your CV and a note about why. Phone and the link are optional.
Here we decide what the information is for, which makes us the controller of it — unlike client data, where we act only on a client’s written instructions.
Your CV is stored on this server in a directory that cannot be reached over the web, under a filename we generate rather than the one you sent. Only someone logged in to this site can open it. It is read to consider your application and shared with nobody. The whole application is kept 12 months and then deleted, and the CV file is deleted with it — not left behind on disk.
Server logs
Our host records an ordinary web-server log for every request: the IP address, the time, the page asked for, and the browser’s user-agent string. Every website has this. It exists for security and for diagnosing faults, we do not analyse it, and we do not connect it to anything else described on this page.
How we count visits
We count page views on our own server, so we can tell a quiet week from a broken one. Each view records the page you opened, the time, the site or search engine that sent you here, and a two-letter country code worked out from your connection. That is the whole record.
It is sent to us and to nobody else. There is no cookie and nothing is kept on your device. There is no identifier of any kind, so two pages read by you are indistinguishable from one page read by each of two people — we cannot tell who you are from this, and we have not built anything that tries. It is never connected to an enquiry, a job application, or anything else on this page.
This runs whether or not you accept analytics, because it stores nothing on your device and never leaves our server. If you would rather it did not, sending a Do Not Track header stops it.
Third parties
Two, and you can avoid both.
Reading this site still contacts nobody but us — until you accept analytics. The typeface is served from our own server rather than Google’s font service, so opening a page here sends nothing to anyone else. That remains true for anyone who declines the bar, and for everyone before they answer it.
Google Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept, Google receives your IP address (shortened before it is stored), which pages you view, roughly which country you are in, and which site or campaign sent you here. Google acts as our processor under its data processing terms. The data is processed in the United States under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, and we keep it for 14 months.
You can withdraw at any time — clear this site’s cookies, or use any browser setting that blocks them, and nothing further is collected.
Booking a call. Our booking page is a Google Calendar appointment schedule, so it is hosted by Google rather than by us. If you open it, Google receives your name, email address, timezone and IP address in order to show you the available times and send the invitation. Google is already our email and calendar provider under a data processing agreement, so booking a call adds a purpose rather than a company.
You never have to use it. The form on our contact page reaches the same people.
Asking us for your data, or its deletion
Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it before the twelve months are up. Email info@jskbusinesssolutions.com. We will do it and confirm in writing.
When this page changes
6 September 2026 — added Google Analytics. Until this date this site loaded no analytics and set no cookies at all. It now uses Google Analytics, off by default and only after you accept it, so we can tell which campaigns bring people here. Nothing else on this page changed, and the site still loads nothing from anyone else unless you say yes.
If we add anything else that collects data — a spam filter on the forms is the one under consideration — this page is updated in the same change that adds it, not afterwards.
