   The work is broken into components, responsibilities assigned and deadlines set.

   You have The work broken into components with dates, and one named person on each side who can make decisions.

3. 03

   Execution

   The team carries out the plan and produces the deliverables it named.

   You have The working thing, and the source code — not a demo you cannot touch.

4. 04

   Monitoring

   Progress is tracked against the schedule and deviations are raised early, not at the end.

   You have A written update against the schedule. If something will be late, you hear it when we know, not at the deadline.

5. 05

   Evaluation

   Outcomes are measured against the original objective and the lessons are written down.

   You have Outcomes measured against the objective set in step 1 — and, on final payment, a signed IP handover certificate transferring ownership to you.
