The problem
A CA firm's year is a wall of statutory dates, repeated across every client, with different documents needed from each. The firm was running it on spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group. It held together because two people carried the whole calendar in their heads — which is fine until one of them is on leave in filing season.
What we did
We built task management shaped to the work rather than to a generic project tool. Recurring compliance tasks generate themselves against each client's applicable dates. Every task carries its own document checklist, so the chase for a missing paper starts before the deadline rather than after it. Work is assigned and visible by staff member, partner review is a step rather than an afterthought, and the status of every client is on one screen instead of in two people's heads.
