Described rather than measured. We publish numbers only where we have them.
An NGO's website is read by funders, regulators and the people it serves — three audiences with very different needs, usually on very different devices and connections. A professional firm's site is read by prospective clients checking whether the firm is real. Both are usually built once by a volunteer or a cousin, then left. Both are judged harshly for looking abandoned.
We built sites that the organisation's own staff can maintain — no page builder subscription, no developer needed to change a phone number. For the NGOs that meant document and report libraries that a coordinator can file into by ticking a box, and pages that load on a slow mobile connection, because that is the real condition of the real reader. For the professional firms it meant making credentials, registrations and services findable in seconds, because that is the only question a prospective client is asking.
